Another thrilling season of amateur cycling under the banner of ORLEN Lang Team Race has come to a close. In 2025, the series featured three events – in Arłamów, Bukowina Tatrzańska, and Bytów. Several thousand riders took part, including more than two thousand participants in the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial.
Once again, cycling enthusiasts had the opportunity to take part in ORLEN Lang Team Race and ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs events. Each race was marked by a unique sporting atmosphere, professional organization, and comprehensive safety measures.
The season kicked off in Arłamów, where cyclists faced a demanding route through the picturesque Bieszczady region near Hotel Arłamów. The event had a special meaning, coinciding with the 70th birthday of Czesław Lang and the ORLEN Nations Grand Prix, showcasing some of the most promising young riders.
The second event traditionally took place as the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial, honoring the legendary Polish cyclist, four-time Peace Race winner, and medalist at the World Championships and Olympic Games. The competition was held around BUKOVINA Resort, with participants tackling a challenging circuit featuring the famous Harnaś and BUKOVINA Walls in Rzepiska and Gliczarów Górny. Just a few hours later, the same demanding roads hosted the world’s best professionals competing in the Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour.
The grand finale of the series took place in Bytów, Czesław Lang’s hometown. The amateur race was combined with the Family Parade “In the Footsteps of Czesław Lang,” creating a friendly and festive cycling celebration for all generations.
“I’m very happy that once again we’ve attracted so many passionate cyclists to our races, giving them the opportunity to compete in professionally organized events held in some of the most beautiful regions of Poland” said Czesław Lang, General Director of Lang Team.
“I’m especially pleased to see such strong interest in the ORLEN Lang Team Race events and that more and more Poles are choosing cycling as a form of recreation. Our races combine active leisure with fair play competition. We’re already planning next year’s editions of the ORLEN Lang Team Race series!” added Czesław Lang.
