On August 8th in Bukowina Tatrzańska and BUKOVINA Resort, a great festival of cycling will take place. Before the professional competition in the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour, male and female cyclists competing in the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amatorów – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial will face the demanding Tatra round. Bank Pekao SA will be a partner of this event.
A little over a month remains until this year’s edition of the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amatorów – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial, which on August 8th will once again attract thousands of amateur cyclists to the route. The competition commemorating the Polish world champion and Olympic vice-champion has been held before the professionals’ race for years – and it will be the same this year.
Bank Pekao SA, known for its commitment to supporting sports at both the professional and amateur levels, has joined the group of Partners of this exceptional event. Bank Pekao SA will participate in the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and cycling through the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amatorów.
“Cycling is more than just a sport – it is a way of life that promotes physical activity, perseverance, and a healthy lifestyle. That is why we are delighted to join the group of partners supporting the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs, an event that has inspired thousands of people over the years to take on new sporting challenges. We are proud to be part of an event set against such a unique backdrop and featuring a route that allows amateur cyclists to experience the atmosphere of Poland’s most prestigious professional cycling race,” said Błażej Szczecki, Vice President of Bank Pekao S.A.
The picturesque route of the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amatorów – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial will lead through demanding terrain from the BUKOVINA Resort to the Rusin-Ski Station. The competitors will conquer the iconic and extremely steep BUKOVINA Wall in Gliczarów twice, and after nearly 54 kilometers of racing and many climbs in their legs, they will finish at the Rusin-Ski Station. The ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amatorów will traditionally be a real treat for amateur cyclists.
The race is a unique opportunity to tackle the route on which, a few hours later, professionals competing in the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour will be racing.
