Exactly two months from now, Bukowina Tatrzańska will once again become the capital of amateur cycling. On August 8, thousands of cycling enthusiasts will line up at the start of the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial to take on one of the most demanding routes in Poland.
In August, fans’ attention will be focused on the stars of the global peloton competing in the 83rd Tour de Pologne UCI WorldTour. At the same time, an integral part of this cycling celebration will once again be the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial. It is a unique opportunity to experience the atmosphere of Poland’s biggest cycling race and test your abilities on a course designed by Lang Team.
As tradition dictates, this year’s event will take place in Bukowina Tatrzańska. Participants will cover 53.9 kilometres of scenic yet highly demanding roads in the Podhale region. The race will start at BUKOVINA Resort and finish at the Rusiń-Ski Resort.
The course will feature everything cyclists love most – challenging climbs, technical descents, and legendary sections known from the professional Tour de Pologne. One of the key highlights will, of course, be the iconic BUKOVINA Wall in Gliczarów, which every year proves to be one of the toughest challenges for participants.
The sporting excitement is fast approaching. Now is the perfect time to fine-tune your form, plan a summer trip to the Tatra Mountains, and join the riders who will tackle the course just a few hours before the world’s best cyclists.
Registration for the ORLEN Tour de Pologne Amateurs – Ryszard Szurkowski Memorial remains open. The countdown starts now!
